Public Invited to Give Input on Wake Superintendent Search

The public is invited to take a survey about the qualities wanted in a new Wake County Schools Superintendent.

The Wake County Board of Education hired McPherson & Jacobson in January to lead the national search. Their work will include background and reference checks and visit the communities of finalists to ensure the prospective candidates are a good fit for WCPSS and the community.

The public will get a chance to meet the candidates during future public presentations. Meanwhile, residents are asked to fill out a survey about the qualities they’d like to see in a candidate.
