A groundbreaking ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Friday for the Lincoln, a new apartment complex being built just east of downtown Raleigh.
Construction has begun on the block bounded by Person Street, Hargett Street, Martin Street, and East Street near Moore Square. The 224-unit complex is a $35 million project.
Mayor Nancy McFarlane, city officials, the investors and the local development team will be providing an overview and update on the project.
