There’s always something going on with transit and transportation, and the NCDOT is working on a lot. Per a press release from them, you can check out a whole bunch of Raleigh-related items at an event Monday, May 6: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
RALEIGH \u2013 <\/strong>The public will have a chance next week to talk directly to NCDOT representatives about nearly two dozen projects either under development or construction in the Raleigh area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The\n N.C. Department of Transportation\u2019s open-house transportation fair is \nscheduled for 4-7 p.m. Monday, May 6, at the McKimmon Center, 1101 \nGorman St. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Community\n members can drop in at any time to get information, ask questions or \nsubmit comments. They will also be able to submit feedback online, even \nif they cannot attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Featured projects will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n For a list of projects that will be showcased at the event, visit www.ncdot.gov\/raleigh<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n NCDOT will also provide details about NC Moves<\/a>, the ongoing effort to update the state\u2019s long-range transportation plan, as well as information about some of the methods incorporated in construction projects that enhance traffic safety and mobility<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Representatives\n from the city of Raleigh, GoRaleigh and the Capital Area Metropolitan \nPlanning Organization also plan to be on hand to offer information about\n Raleigh projects, the Wake Transit Plan and other transportation \ninitiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
