If you haven\u2019t joined us for one of our general meetings or mixers, you may wonder who you\u2019d find at one of these gatherings.\u00a0 The answer is anyone living, working or supporting Downtown Raleigh, from any of ten neighborhoods and ranging in age from 20 to 55+.\u00a0 Here are some of our statistics:<\/p>\n

We\u2019re excited not just about our growth in numbers, but also across the variety of building types and neighborhoods that represent the Downtown area of Raleigh.\u00a0 DLA Members live in condos, townhouses, apartments and single family houses.\u00a0 The location of resident buildings and neighborhoods of DLA members can be shown on this map.<\/div>\n

While a little over 70% of our members are between 25 and 35 years of age, nearly 25% of our members are over the age of 45. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

So grab your baby bag, your briefcase, or your beer!\u00a0 Come join us!<\/p>\n

You may simply want to know what\u2019s going on in Downtown Raleigh, or become active in working with city officials in Raleigh’s Downtown revitalization.\u00a0 You may also choose to help your neighborhood champion in planning activities to bring people in your area together.\u00a0 As a member you\u2019ll be informed of all our meetings and events, as well as receiving this monthly newsletter.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s free and easy, so be sure to tell your Downtown friends and neighbors about the DLA.\u00a0 Encourage them to follow us on Facebook<\/a>, Twitter<\/a> and to also become a member<\/a>.<\/p>\n
