So rather than preach, I strive to give people the resources they need to make their own choices.<\/p>\n<p>I have a Raleigh friend who has never voted.\u00a0 He\u2019s an activist, building local businesses to support sustainability and supports local foundations and other non-profits.\u00a0 He is a property owner and pays taxes.
