Send it to editor [at] raleighpublicrecord.org. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Raleigh&#8217;s Historic Oakwood celebrated its second annual Samedi Gras Saturday. &#8220;Samedi&#8221; means Saturday in French, just as &#8220;mardi&#8221; means Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The two blocks of Linden Street hosted this year&#8217;s celebration with three homes offering different types of New Orleans food and drink.
