If we do not cut the role of the federal government there will be so many people dependent on the federal government that conservatives will never have the opportunity to be elected and cut the role of the federal government.

What do you think are the specific issues facing your district?

It’s the same issues that are facing all Americans. We have out-of-control government spending and out-of-control government debt and out of control government regulations and bureaucracy. Unless we cut all three, a day of reckoning is going to come. We would have run away inflation and we would never be able to get back on the road to prosperity.

Why do you think your constituents should elect you?

I’ve never run for an office before. I’ve never served in an elected office. But during my time in the U.S. Attorney’s office I combated corrupt politicians and saw how the system is broken. I saw how politicians sell out their constituents and sell out their principles. Conservatives sold out all for the sake of getting re-elected. You get these career politicians who want to go and work the system. They say, ‘I know how the system works.’ They want to go work the system. I want to go to Washington and bust the system.

What do you think are the biggest accomplishments and failures of the U.S. House of Representatives during the past two years?

I think the biggest failure is passing Obamacare. Accomplishments? They haven’t had any accomplishments. Passing Obamacare and raising the debt ceiling were huge failures. And so far they have not been able to pass something that I would consider an accomplishment.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

My guilty pleasure is cooking and eating. I love to cook and I love to eat. That’s certainly the thing that is the bane of my existence.

[577
582,189,655,581
