Police arrested a 26-year-old man for driving drunk just before 1 a.m. today on I40 at the Cary Towne Parkway exit.<\/p>\n

A 32-year-old man got busted with pot around 2 this morning in a lot on Carolina Avenue.<\/p>\n

A Delta Lake Drive woman reported her semi-automatic handgun had been stolen sometime over the past couple days from her home.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 21-year-old woman for driving while impaired at 2:30 on the 3900 block of Western Boulevard.<\/p>\n

Thursday, April 16<\/strong><\/p>\n

RPD officers charged a 50-year-old man for assaulting a 51-year-old woman just after midnight Thursday.<\/p>\n

Sometime before 9 a.m. someone made off with a GPS from a car parked in a lot on Manor Village Way.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 43-year-old man for assaulting another man, 37, with a knife at an apartment on Sutton Drive.<\/p>\n

Last night someone stole two bicycles, one blue and the other a red mountain bike “with an oversized seat,” from a home on Royal Street.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 16-year-old man for trying to steal a red t-shirt from JC Penny on Six Forks Road at 4 Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Sometime during the afternoon, someone stole yard equipment from a home on E. Cabarrus Street.<\/p>\n

Going to the beach? A 17-year-old man tried to steal a pair of sandals and shorts from a K-Mart on Western Boulevard around 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Someone stole $3,000 from a nursing home on Sunnybrook Road.<\/p>\n

A 36-year-old woman assaulted a 16-year-old woman with the same last name and address at an apartment on Vanderbilt Avenue around 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

Around 7 yesterday evening, someone damaged a Glenwood Avenue exit sign on the outer loop of I-440.<\/p>\n

Someone broke into a car during the day and stole two gym bags, two pairs of pants, a $50 gift card and $5 in cash from a parking lot on the 9600 block of Falls of the Neuse Road.<\/p>\n

Preachers with guns<\/a>. Someone stole a Glock handgun from a Cary minister’s car parked on New Bern Avenue around 1 p.m.<\/p>\n

Expensive glasses. Someone stole a pair of $1,200 prescription glasses from a 56-year-old man at a building on Main at North Hills Street.<\/p>\n

Someone assaulted a 33-year-old man with a gun around 3:30 Wednesday morning on the 400 block of Branch Street.<\/p>\n

Overnight, someone broke into a Dent Wizard store on Capital Boulevard and stole a computer and a cash box containing $85.<\/p>\n

Police arrested two men, 43 and 47, for selling weed on Haywood Street.<\/p>\n

A man and a woman, 33 and 35, got busted for selling pot from an apartment on Inona Place.<\/p>\n
