Just after midnight, someone stole an MP3 player, a GPS and four baseball hats from a car parked on the 3200 block of New Bern Avenue.<\/p>\n

Around 2 a.m. someone stole $400 worth of college textbooks and some clothes from a car parked on Versatile Road.<\/p>\n

A 33-year-old man assaulted a 38-year-old woman at a Walnut Street apartment around 1:30 this morning.<\/p>\n

Someone tried to set fire to an apartment on North Raleigh Boulevard around 3:30 this morning.<\/p>\n

Thursday, April 23<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sometime before the Meineke Car Care Center on Capital Boulevard opened for the day, someone broke into the garage and stole $30 in change.<\/p>\n

Someone broke into a car on the 1200 block of Hillsborough Street and stole a GPS.<\/p>\n

Early Thursday morning, someone stole $300, a digital camera and a wallet out of a car parked on Paula Street.<\/p>\n

Overnight, someone broke into a car on Sherrybrook Drive and stole $10.<\/p>\n

Sometime early Thursday morning, someone stole a camera and $95 from a car parked on Thoroughbred Lane.<\/p>\n

Police caught a 46-year-old man carrying drug paraphernalia on the 800 block of East Martin Street just after 5 a.m.<\/p>\n

Thursday morning, someone stole a flat-screen TV, two DVD players, a laptop, a stereo and blue Puma Sneakers from a house on Kent Road.<\/p>\n

During the day, someone stole a Playstation 3 and three games from a home on Vico Terrace.<\/p>\n

Police arrested an 18-year-old man for pot possession on Bellwood Drive around 11 a.m.<\/p>\n

Man takes “clean up your act” advice too literally: a 35-year-old Wendell male tried to steal about $20 worth of soap from a Milburnie Road store around noon.<\/p>\n

Someone tried to pry open an apartment door on the 1100 block of Wake Forest Road.<\/p>\n

Around 2 p.m. someone stole two laptops from a sports field on Tryon Road.<\/p>\n

At some point during the day, someone walked off with a GPS from a car parked in a lot on Cedarview Court.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 26-year-old woman for assaulting a 22-year-old Apex woman at a hotel on Maitland Drive around 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

A woman with 48 breasts, perhaps? Someone stole 24 bras from the Victoria’s Secret store on Triangle Town Boulevard.<\/p>\n

Swedish fish are good, but… A 52-year-old man tried to steal two bags of Swedish Fish from a Food Lion on North Rogers Lane around 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

Candy’s popular this week. An 18-year-old man tried to steal a bag of Sour Patch Kids and a disposable camera from a Lowe’s Food on East Millbrook Road.<\/p>\n

A 21-year-old man assaulted a woman of the same age at the woman’s home on Hunt Club Lane at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

A man reported shots fired around 8:30 p.m. on Comet Drive.<\/p>\n

Just before midnight, someone stole a sound board from the Solid Rock Ministry on Lord Berkley Road.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, April 22<\/strong><\/p>\n

Overnight, someone broke into a car parked on Beverly Drive and stole three speakers and an amplifier.<\/p>\n

Someone broke into a car on Hillcrest Road Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 46-year-old man for kidnapping a 29-year-old woman on East Lenoir Street Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Thieves into sharing: police arrested four men, all 18 through 20, for robbing a 21-year-old Garner man on South Blount Street at 7 p.m. The four stole a watch, a pair of size 8.5 sneakers, a cell phone and $50.<\/p>\n

A 16-year-old woman assaulted an 18-year-old woman on Navaho Drive around 9 Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Someone broke into a car on Falls Valley Drive around 3:30 p.m. and stole a laptop.<\/p>\n

Police picked up a 36-year-old man for drunk driving on Duraleigh Road just before midnight.<\/p>\n

Someone spray painted what the police call “gang graffiti” on a car parked on Brockton Drive Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n
