Around 5 this morning, someone reported shots fired near the 400 block of Buck Jones Road.<\/p>\n

Someone assaulted a man with a knife at 5:30 this morning on the 3700 block of Swann Drive.<\/p>\n

Monday, May 4<\/strong><\/p>\n

Overnight, someone broke into three cars parked at a service station on Wicker Drive and stole the CD players.<\/p>\n

Around 2 a.m. someone assaulted a 17-year-old Virginia woman on the 1700 block of Southgate Drive.<\/p>\n

Sometime Monday morning, someone stole $300 and eight pairs of jeans from a home on Rose Lane.<\/p>\n

Someone ran off with a purse from a gas station on the 2600 block of South Saunders Street around 6 a.m.<\/p>\n

Around 10:15 a.m. someone assaulted a 47-year-old woman at her Huntleigh Drive apartment.<\/p>\n

Stealing from children at church?\u00a0 Jeez.\u00a0 During the day someone stole a wallet with $20 in it from a woman while she was working at the Millbrook Baptist Preschool on East Millbrook Road.<\/p>\n

Around 2:30 p.m. someone assaulted a 50-year-old woman on the 800 block of Hillsborough Street.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 47-year-old Durham woman for drug possession on the 10,000 block of Glenwood Avenue around 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Sunday afternoon, someone broke into a car on Russ Street and stole a GPS.<\/p>\n

During the day, someone stole a CD player, a small television, some CDs and two speakers from a car parked on Lease Lane.<\/p>\n

Police caught a 29-year-old woman with drug paraphernalia at a convenience store on the 2200 block of New Hope Church Road.<\/p>\n

Wake up sleepy thief…. Monday afternoon, someone walked off with a mattress and box spring from an apartment on Method Road.<\/p>\n

Around 5 p.m. someone assaulted a high school student and stole his hat and backpack at the corner of Hollenden Drive and Hylton Drive.<\/p>\n

Someone assaulted a 21-year-old woman around 6 p.m. on Tulane Drive and stole her purse.<\/p>\n

Someone assaulted a 47-year-old man at his apartment on Magellan Way just before 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

Someone stole a laptop from an apartment on Nine Iron Way Monday evening.<\/p>\n

Someone broke in the rear window to an apartment on Burgundy Street just before 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

Just after 9 Monday night, someone assaulted a 26-year-old man with a knife at his apartment on West Grove Street.<\/p>\n

A 46-year-old woman tried to steal $425 worth of jewelry and clothes from a Kohl’s store on Alexander Promenade Place at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

Police caught a 46-year-old Durham woman with pot around 9 last night.<\/p>\n

Around 11:15 Monday night, someone assaulted a 26-year-old woman in a lot on the 1800 block of Rock Quarry Road.<\/p>\n

Sunday, May 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

A thief whose sense of aesthetics was egregiously affronted, maybe.\u00a0 Over the weekend, someone stole a pink 2-foot tall artificial plant from a home on Marthonna Way.<\/p>\n

Someone stole a gray mountain bike from Hunt Club Lane overnight.<\/p>\n

A little after midnight, a 25-year-old man assaulted another man, 20, with a knife at their shared apartment on the 2900 block of Millbrook Woods Drive.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 26-year-old man for drunk driving at the corner of Wake Forest Road and Cotton Exchange around 2:30 Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Around 6 Sunday evening, someone assaulted a 29-year-old man at his apartment on the 5000 block of Sedgewick Drive.<\/p>\n

A 22-year-old man assaulted a 38-year-old woman at a bar at 4000 Atlantic Ave. around 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Just before Sunday night, police caught a 20-year-old man with pot on the 8400 block of Wild Wood Forest.<\/p>\n
