On Sunday a 59-year-old man, upset with his 62-year-old ex-girlfriend, assaulted his ex and two other women, 47 and 20, at a home at 227 Waldrop St. The man also assaulted a medic who was called to the scene. Police charged the man with three counts of assault, resisting arrest, communicating threats and possessing drug paraphernalia. A police spokeswoman says the man was on drugs at the time, but couldn’t say what he was on.<\/p>\n
On Monday, police arrested a 16-year-old East Raleigh High School student for arson after he used a lighter to set a toilet paper roll on fire in a bathroom.<\/p>\n
