Around 1:30 this morning a 25-year-old woman assaulted another woman of the same age at their shared apartment on Amber Lantern Street.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 27-year-old man for driving while impaired on the 5200 block of Six Forks Road just before 2 a.m.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, May 19<\/strong><\/p>\n

Overnight someone broke into a car parked outside an apartment building on the 4700 block of New Hope Road and stole a CD player.<\/p>\n

Someone smashed in the window to a car parked on the 4300 block of Lead Mine Road and stole an “in-dash JVC entertainment system” overnight.<\/p>\n

Someone stole a 2008 Nissan Altima from a lot on the 5300 block of Western Boulevard overnight.<\/p>\n

Just before 2:30 a.m. police arrested a 28-year-old man for DWI on the 1300 block of Millbrook Road.<\/p>\n

Sometime early Tuesday morning someone broke into a car parked on Graduate Lane and stole two cameras and three lenses.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 56-year-old man for having drugs in his car on Ashe Avenue around 4:30 Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

A 20-year-old woman tried to shoplift from the CVS on Fayetteville Street around 8:45 a.m.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 27-year-old man around 11 a.m. for having drugs in his car on Avent Ferry Road.<\/p>\n

Just after 11 a.m. a 16-year-old man got caught trying to steal five packs of gum from a Capital Boulevard Food Lion.<\/p>\n

A 27-year-old woman tried to steal about $15 worth of hair products from the same Food Lion on Capital Boulevard at 11:45 a.m.<\/p>\n

Just before noon, a 17-year-old woman got caught with pot at Broughton High School.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 49-year-old man for pot possession at a park on Cape Avenue around noon Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Police caught a 23-year-old woman with pot in her car around 1 p.m. on Robinson Avenue.<\/p>\n

A 27-year-old Cary man and a Raleigh woman, 26, assaulted each other in a parking lot at 5619 Hillsborough Street at 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

During the day someone broke into a home on the 1900 block of North Hills Drive and stole a gold bracelet.<\/p>\n

Around 7 p.m. police arrested a 45-year-old man for drug possession on Bragg Street.<\/p>\n

A 42-year-old man assaulted a woman of the same age at their shared Sandy Forks Road apartment just after 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

Tuesday evening a 54-year-old woman assaulted a 44-year-old man at his home on Summerkings Court.<\/p>\n

A 16-year-old man with a gun stole a cell phone from another man, 17, at a shopping center on the 800 block of Rock Quarry Road around 8 p.m. Police arrested the robber.<\/p>\n

Police arrested two men, 24 and 25, and a 30-year-old woman for pot possession. They were all in a car at the corner of Dansey Drive and Louisburg Road.<\/p>\n

Just before 9 p.m. a man, 37, assaulted a 38-year-old woman at their shared Coleman Street apartment.<\/p>\n

Tuesday night someone stole a Playstation 2, a DVD player, a car CD player and some other things from an apartment on Burgundy Street.<\/p>\n

Someone assaulted a 44-year-old woman at her Freeman Street home at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 19-year-old man for pot possession on the 600 block of Bragg Street around 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Monday, May 18<\/strong><\/p>\n

Crime doesn’t pay, stupid. Overnight, someone broke in a glass door at a city parking deck at 314 S. Blount St. and stole an empty cash box.<\/p>\n

Police arrested an 18-year-old Cary man for driving while impaired on the 9800 block of Durant Road at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n

Just…what?\u00a0 Around 3 p.m. a 48-year-old man tried to steal two boxes of tampons, three packages of blank DVDs, a pack of razors, a bottle of Ranch salad dressing and a bottle of baby oil from a Target on Old wake Forest Road.<\/p>\n

Monday afternoon police arrested an 18-year-old man for stealing from his employer, the Wal-Mart on New Hope Church Road.<\/p>\n

Around 5:15 p.m. police caught a 23-year-old man with pot in his car.<\/p>\n
