Police arrested two men just after midnight for damaging 33 street signs and a mailbox.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 23-year-old man for having pot in his car on the 400 block of East Hargett Street at about 1:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a Wake Forest man, 36, for DWI on the 3800 block of Lake Boone Trail just before 2 a.m.<\/p>\n

Overnight, someone broke into a home on River Bluff Court and stole an X-Box 360 and $300 worth of jewelry.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 51-year-old man from Marlboro for driving while impaired at 2 a.m. on the 7000 block of Capital Boulevard.<\/p>\n

Someone stole a GPS, a pair of sunglasses and various CDs from a car parked on the 500 block of West Jones Street overnight.<\/p>\n

Police caught a 21-year-old man with pot on the 2200 block of Poole Road just after 3 a.m.<\/p>\n

Someone assaulted a 26-year-old man on the 1200 block of Hillsborough Street at about 3:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a Knightdale man, 29, for pot possession at a hotel at 3801 Capital Blvd.<\/p>\n

Someone with a gun stole cell phone, gold chain and a 2008 Dodge Charger from a 24-year-old man at a shopping center on Rock Quarry Road. Police recovered the car.<\/p>\n

Someone reported an attempted rape on the 4500 block of Delta Lake Drive between 8 and 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 20-year-old man for selling pot out of an apartment on Loft Lane at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n

During the day someone broke into a home on Providence Drive and stole jewelry, DVDs and a glass jar full of change from a 73-year-old woman.<\/p>\n

Saturday, May 23<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 31-year-old man assaulted a 28-year-old woman at their shared Red Bay Drive home around midnight.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 26-year-old man for DWI on the 2700 block of Capital Boulevard at 12:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 22-year-old man for pot possession on the 800 block of South new Hope Road at about 1 a.m.<\/p>\n

Someone assaulted a 27-year-old woman with a knife at a home on Faversham Place at 1:30 Friday morning.<\/p>\n

Police arrested an 18-year-old man for having pot on his car on Bridgeport Drive just after 1:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

At about 2:40 a.m. someone assaulted a 38-year-old woman at her home on Dallas Street.<\/p>\n

Someone assaulted an 18-year-old woman at a home on Suburban Drive at about 4:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Overnight someone stole a coin collection, a CD player and about 60 CDs from an apartment on Mill Village Road.<\/p>\n

A Kroger employee stole about $11,000 from the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard store.<\/p>\n

Two men, 17 and 18, tried to steal a head wrap and a pair of cargo shorts from the Wal-Mart on New Bern Avenue.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 62-year-old Wilmington man for trying to steal a pair of sunglasses from a JC Penny store on Six Forks Road.<\/p>\n

Saturday afternoon, a 58-year-old woman assaulted a 19-year-old woman at their shared home on Schoolhouse Street.<\/p>\n

Police arrested two men, both 23, for pot possession on the 2000 block of New Bern Avenue at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

Just before 7 p.m. police arrested a 21-year-old man for pot possession on the 5600 block of Creedmoor Road.<\/p>\n

At about 9 Saturday night someone with a gun assaulted an 18-year-old woman on the 1600 block of New Bern Avenue.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 23-year-old Knightdale man for selling pot on Chapanoke Road at 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

A woman reported shots fired near Mackinac Island Lane just after 9:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

Someone reported shots fired near Ralph Drive just after 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

At about 10 p.m. someone assaulted a 26-year-old man at an apartment complex on Narrow Valley Way.<\/p>\n

Police arrested a 17-year-old woman for having pot in her car on Ralph Drive at 10:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Someone with a gun stole a 2000 Nissan Altima from a 58-year-old man on the 600 block of Bragg Street.<\/p>\n
