To date, the organization has raised $558,000.<\/p>\n<p>To compete, participants begin at the NCSU Belltower, run 2.5 miles through downtown Raleigh, stop at Krispy Kreme to eat one dozen doughnuts and then run back \u2014 all in less than one hour.
