Any eligible Wake County voter may visit an early voting location and cast a vote. Voters do not need an ID to vote. <\/p>\n<p>Wake County is offering <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wakegov.com\/elections\/info\/early\/locations\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">five locations<\/a> for early voting this year, most open weekdays and Saturdays. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theraleighcommons.org\/raleighpublicrecord\/voter-guide-2013\/2013\/09\/13\/changes-coming-to-nc-voting-law-but-not-this-year\/\" target=\"_blank\">Changes in voting laws<\/a> have reduced the number of early voting days from 17 to 10 and ended same-day registration, of which nearly 100,000 people took advantage in 2012. Same-day registration and voting is no longer allowed, and voters can also no longer vote a straight ticket for one party. <\/p>\n<p>Voters will choose either a Republican or Democrat ballot to help narrow the field of candidates for the November General Election.
