No movie theaters, bowling alleys or Targets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the aims of the project, Grubb said, was to push the height of the buildings away from the surrounding residential areas and \u201cout on Glenwood and the beltline, where think it\u2019s more appropriate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that there would be a 150-foot buffer between the proposed development and the existing County Club Hills neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Potential Impacts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Despite the large turnout, not many residents had the opportunity to ask questions following the developer\u2019s presentation on Glenwood Place. By adding retail and dining options, employees working in the development\u2019s office buildings would be less likely to leave the property during lunch, reducing traffic during a heavy time.<\/p>\n<p>Grubb noted that there would not be a cut-through from the development to the Country Club Hills neighborhood it borders. His company would fight any attempt, he said, to create a road between the two.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to develop it right, we\u2019re going to do the highest quality we can possibly do, I\u2019m proud of every project I\u2019ve ever worked on,\u201d Grubb said.<\/p>\n<p>A vote on the project will be held at the next meeting of the Glenwood CAC, scheduled for March 23.
