Monday, August 17<\/strong><\/p>\n A computer, two cell phones, two televisions and gold jewelry were stolen from an apartment on the 3800 block of Brentwood Road overnight.<\/p>\n Overnight, someone stole $200 from a car parked on the 12400 block of Draco Road.<\/p>\n Someone stole a television from an apartment on the 3100 block of Exacta Lane sometime overnight.<\/p>\n Just after midnight, a 24-year-old was arrested for attempting to rob another man,19, using a firearm on the 400 block of Hill Street.<\/p>\n Between 7 and 9 a.m. someone using a knife robbed a man on the 800 block of East Lenoir Street.<\/p>\n Sometime before 7:45 a.m. someone stole a GPS and change from a car parked on the 1400 block of Onslow Court.<\/p>\n Someone stole a Honda Accord from 2600 Rock Quarry Road between 7:31 and 10:50 a.m.<\/p>\n Between 7:00 p.m. Sunday and 11:30 p.m. Monday, someone stole a laptop from 3009 Hillsborough St.<\/p>\n Someone assaulted a 36-year-old woman at her home on the 7000 block of Paint Rock Lane between midnight and 3:00 a.m.<\/p>\n A man, 36, was charged with drunk driving near the 5000 block of Six Forks Road at 2:00 a.m.<\/p>\n Around 8:30 a.m. a woman, 54, assaulted another woman, 62, with a knife in a parking lot at 1503 Crest Rd.<\/p>\n A woman’s lobster-print purse was snatched by someone at the parking lot at 2603 Glenwood Ave. at 2:04 p.m.<\/p>\n Someone stole socks, boxers, and undershirts from the Super Dollar at 800 N Person St. at 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n At 3:42 p.m. a man, 26, was assaulted with a deadly weapon by someone on the 100 block of Carver Street.<\/p>\n Sunday, August 16<\/strong><\/p>\n Overnight, an orange 20-inch Razor bicycle and an orange 20-inch Rampage bicycle were stolen from a house on the 8600 block of Olde Station Drive.<\/p>\n At around 12:30 a.m. someone stole a silver, 26-inch Trek bicycle near 150 Fayetteville St.<\/p>\n Someone stole a GPS from a car parked at 4820 Tolley Ct. overnight.<\/p>\n Between 12:30 and 6:30 a.m. someone stole three Army uniforms and other assorted Army clothing from a car parked in a lot at 3136 Dockside Dr.<\/p>\n Someone stole a Toyota Corolla parked at a house on the 1600 block of East Davie Street between 1:30 and 6:30 a.m.<\/p>\n Sometime during the day, someone stole a DVD player, an X-Box, two purses, earrings, checks and clothing from a house on the 5600 block of Tanglewood Pine Lane.<\/p>\n At 1:51 p.m. two men were arrested by police for stealing rewriteable DVDs and a box of Zantac from the CVS on Spring Forest Road.<\/p>\n Around 5:30 p.m. someone stole a purse, sunglasses, a Coach bag, and an iPod from a car parked at 8115 Brier Creek Pkwy.<\/p>\n Someone stole a bicycle from the 500 block of South Salisbury Street at 7:43 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Today’s episode: The unknown soldier and the Fayetteville Street bicycle thief.
