Between 2 and 3 a.m. someone broke into a house on the 4400 block of Colony Road and stole a 60\u201d flat screen Pioneer television.<\/p>\n

A 46-year-old man was arrested for stealing ham from the Sheraton Hotel at 421 S. Salisbury St. at 2:52 a.m.<\/p>\n

Between Sunday and 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, someone stole a generator and a pressure washer from a vechicle parked at 2926 Capital Blvd.<\/p>\n

Monday, August 24<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the weekend, someone stole a vehicle boot from 2200 Hope St.<\/p>\n

Sometime between Saturday and Monday morning, someone broke into a business at 5720-H Capital Blvd. and stole six computers and some cash.<\/p>\n

Someone stole a car battery and CDs from a Honda Civic parked at 1400 Rock Quarry Rd. sometime over the weekend before 6:53 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n

Sometime before 9:27 a.m. Monday morning, someone stole a GPS unit from a car parked in a lot at 119 Park Ave.<\/p>\n

A woman, 62, reported that someone stole her kayak from a city park at 6404 Lake Wheeler Rd. about 11 a.m.<\/p>\n

A woman, 38, reported that someone stole her cell phone, $6, and her debit card out of her vehicle parked at Wake Medical Center between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

A 28-year-old woman reported that someone stole her purse as she was walking down the 8500 block of Strickland Road at about 2:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

A 25-year-old man reported that between 6:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. someone stole a Playstation 3, some video games, and $160 cash from his home on the 7000 block of Woodbend Drive.<\/p>\n

Between 2 and 2:40 p.m., a 24-year-old man employed by Wal-Mart was arrested for stealing the Underworld Trilogy series of books from a different Wal-Mart store located at 4431 New Bern Ave.<\/p>\n

Sometime between Sunday and 2:45 p.m. Monday, someone stole two lawn chairs from a home on the 4200 block of Offshore Drive.<\/p>\n

A man, 32, reported that someone stole two flat screen televisions, two X-box gaming systems, a video camera, a pair of tennis shoes, a laptop and two GPS systems from his home on the 4900 block of Hoyle Drive between 2 and 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

A man, 25, was arrested for stealing two Febreeze Air Spray cans, a pack of M&M\u2019s, and a pack of Skittles from a Food Lion on the 3400 block of Poole Road between 3 and 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Two men were arrested for stealing \u201cvarious cuts of assorted meat\u201d valued at $237 from the Food Lion at 5633 Creedmoor Rd. around 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

A man, 44, was arrestd for stealing a pack of copper scours and a pack of fruit snacks from the Dollar General at 2720 Lake Wheeler Rd. around 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Someone stole a black glock 17 9mm around 7 p.m. from a house on the 7200 block of Laurel Drive.<\/p>\n

Between 7:30 and 10 p.m., a 22-year-old woman reported that someone stole her $1,500 laptop and a $500 piece of jewelry from an apartment on the 7300 block of Bryn Athyn Way.<\/p>\n

Around 10:30 p.m., a man, 36, assaulted a 42-year-old man with a knife near 500 S. Swain Street.<\/p>\n

Someone stole a beige laundry cart with a hanging pole from Rehoboth Laundry, located at 1100 N. Raleigh Blvd., around 11:15 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
