Small Houses is a contemporary folk group from Lansing, Michigan. With a traditional folk instrumental sound, they use more a more contemporary approach to their vocal with surprising success. The Major Sevens, a bluegrass/folk band out of the Chapel Hill area, is yet another solid band in an area with an abundance of talent in the Folk/Bluegrass genre. This in no way is a negative; the more the merrier! This group is very talented. Excellent picking as well very good harmonized vocals. They play an early evening show at Tir Na Nog on Friday night.
