Someone tried to break into the front door of the El Rodeo Mexican restaurant on Pleasant Valley Road early this morning.

Definitely don’t drink and drive, but also watch out for leaving your car at the bar. Someone stole a 1994 Honda Accord after 2:30 this morning from the Ugly Monkey bar on West Morgan Street.

Really, don’t drink and drive. RPD officers arrested a 21-year-old Garner woman from driving drunk after last call early this morning, also on West Morgan Street.

Thursday, April 2

Someone stole about $2,200 in construction equipment from a construction site on Granville Drive.

Someone stole 300 lottery tickets, an Apple iPhone and a $700-dollar Louis Vuitton bag from the 1600 block on Hillsborough Street Thursday evening.

Police arrested a 16-year-old male for assaulting a 17-year-old male at Millbrook High School Thursday at 11 a.m.

RPD officers arrested a 30-year-old man for selling pot late last night on Carolina Pines Avenue.

Hotel robbery. Someone robbed a 42-year-old man at gunpoint at a South Wilmington Street motel late last night.  The thief made off with $300 and a cell phone.

A would-be thief tried to break into the front door of a house on Bona Court Thursday afternoon.

Not worth it. Police arrested a 38-year-old man for trying to steal a 24 ounce can of Olde English 800 at about 1 p.m. yesterday from a Food Lion on Raleigh Boulevard. Value: $1.38.

Playstations and iPods. A robber broke in to a home on Log Cabin Drive and stole a Playstation and a 60 gig iPod.

A thief broke the door to a Quail Ridge Road home and made off with $4,500 in jewelry, a digital camera and a laptop during the day Thursday.

Shoplifter trying to clean up. A 38-year-old man got caught trying to steal three packs of Dove Soap from a Food Lion on Raleigh Boulevard around noon yesterday.

Police arrested two 18-year-old women for shoplifting at a Sears store on Old Wake Forest Road.

Police arrested two more women, both 22-years-old, for shoplifting at a Six Forks Road store. They tried to steal a $300 dress.

Someone broke into a car in a lot on Western Boulevard after 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon and stole a purse and a laptop. The thief also made off with a fleece coat, “chocolate in color.”

Folks love those Playstations. A robber took a Playstation and four games from an apartment on Woodbend Road Thursday afternoon.

Lucky thief. Someone made off with $700 in cash from an apartment on Six Forks Road yesterday afternoon.

Police arrested a 35-year-old woman for assaulting her roommate, a 32-year-old man, on Kitty Lane Thursday evening. Twenty minutes later, RPD officers arrested another woman, this time 34-years-old, for assaulting a 45-year-old man at an apartment on Mills Street.

Just before midnight last night police arrested two men, one 24 and the other 21, for pot possession in a car on New Bern Avenue.

Whatever you do, don’t carry your Social Security card around with you–maybe the Methadone explains it. Someone stole a 54-year-old woman’s purse from the Waffle House on Hillsborough Street. The thief made off with $300 in cash, one box of prescription Methadone and a social security card, among other things.

Look out for the thief with the hot pink cell phone. Someone stole the phone from a bar on Hillsborough Street.

The studious robber. Someone stole 12 law books, two years’ worth of class notes and seven calendars from 1993 to 2000 from a home on Parkridge Lane yesterday morning.

The only thing more tempting than a Playstation? A GPS. Someone stole a GPS unit from a car parked in a lot on the 2800 block of Hillsborough Street Thursday evening.

Somebody’s got a lot of cash. A robber made off with $2,000 in cash from a Spring Forest Road apartment Thursday evening.

A woman reported shots fired on Walnut Creek Parkway just after 10 p.m. last night.

Welcome to Raleigh. A man visiting from Seoul, South Korea had his suitcase stolen from West Jones Street yesterday afternoon.

Wednesday, April 1

A robber made off with one $10 bill after robbing a store on South Street Wednesday night.

Police arrested two men, a 27 year old from Knightdale and a 30-year-old from Durham, late Wednesday night for selling opium or cocaine derivatives.
