Brothers? Police arrested two 48-year-old men with the same last name, one from Sanford and the other from Broadway, NC, for pot possession on South State Street at about 2 a.m.

Someone broke the front door to a Wake Forest Road convenience store at about 3:30 this morning.

A Pitching Wedge Road resident reported shots fired just after midnight this morning.

What costs $300 and can fit in your pocket? Someone stole a GPS from a car on Tall Timber Drive early this morning.

Police arrested two men, 23 and 24, for pot possession on the 2500 block of Western Boulevard at about 3:30 a.m.

Someone tried to break into an office building on Atlantic Avenue after midnight this morning.

Police arrested a 29-year-old man for assaulting another man, 32, just before 3 a.m. on Powell Drive.

Three men robbed a Wachovia bank on Edwards Mill Road on Monday. From the Raleigh Police Department:

“Shortly before 10 a.m. today three suspects entered the Wachovia bank at 3301 Edwards Mill Road and committed a robbery. The three suspects were believed by witnesses to be black males. Each had his face and head covered. At least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun. In the attached surveillance photo the suspects are the individuals seen on the left, the right and the second from the right. The fourth individual in the photo (second from the left) is not a suspect. After the robbery, the suspects fled in a gray-green 1996 Toyota 4Runner. That vehicle was located a short time later in a Harris Teeter store parking lot in the 31 hundred block of Edwards Mill Road. It had been reported stolen in S.C. It is likely that the suspects switched vehicles in the Harris Teeter parking lot, and anyone who may have witnessed the suspects there is asked to contact the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at (919) 996-3555.”

Not a vegetarian thief. Someone broke into a Sigma Foods truck and stole 28 hams and 10 packs of hotdogs sometime last week.

Be on the lookout for a robber carrying a pink Betty Boop wallet. Someone broke into a car and stole a purse with the aforementioned wallet, $10, a social security card and a birth certificate from a lot on Western Boulevard at about 6 p.m.

Someone broke a window at an apartment on Trailside Drive.

Police arrested a 46-year-old woman for assaulting two women, 18 and 26, at a hotel on Brentwood Road just after midnight.

Someone broke a door at a home on Trestlewood Lane and stole a TV, laptop and a game system late Monday night.

Illegible (and expensive) graffiti. Someone spray painted four letters on a building at 8300 Health Park: “S???” Damage estimated at $800.

Police arrested a 19-year-old Cary woman for drug possession at about 2 Monday morning.

Someone stole a GPS from a car parked on N. Person Street at about midday Monday.

RPD officers arrested a 29-year-old man for assaulting his roommate, a 25-year-old woman, at an apartment on Mezzanine Drive at about 10 p.m. Monday.

Someone spray painted silver graffiti on the back of a building at 2431 Spring Forest Road over the weekend.

Police arrested a 19-year-old Cary woman for assaulting a 29-year-old man with a box cutter at his apartment on St. Regis Circle at about 2 a.m. She was also charged with drug possession: opium, cocaine or derivative.

Just before 10 Monday morning, someone broke a large window at a house on Mackinac Island Lane.

Over the weekend, someone broke into two construction trailers on Thistledown Lane and made off with more than $7,000 in equipment and supplies.

Police arrested a 44-year-old woman for assaulting her neighbor, a 40-year-old man, on Little John Road just after 8 p.m. She also damaged a door and broke a plate.

Late Monday night, someone mugged a 16-year-old pizza delivery boy working for Road Runner Pizza on Foxridge Manor Road. The robber got off with $60, the kid’s car keys, cell phone and a pizza bag. The police report says nothing about what happened to the pizza.

Police arrested three men, all 16 and 17, for pot possession at about 7 p.m. on Berkeley Street.

Someone stole $1,000 in jewelry from a hotel room on Homewood Banks Drive.

Monday afternoon, someone broke the door to a home on Bardwell Road and made off with a flat-screen TV.

A 36-year-old Gladstone Drive woman returned home from being out of town for two weeks to find that someone stole her washer, drier, microwave, computer and TV.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for assaulting a woman of the same age on the 2500 block of Falls of Neuse Road after 1 a.m.

Someone stole $149.79 from the IHOP on Capital Boulevard Monday evening.

Police arrested a 46-year-old woman for stealing $26 worth of jewelry, three CDs and two salt and pepper shakers from a New Hope Church Road Walmart.

Someone made off with a bicycle from Play-It-Again Sports on Glenwood Avenue Monday evening.

RPD officers arrested an 18-year-old man for selling pot on Haywood Street Monday afternoon.

Someone tried to break in a door on Bardwell Road over the weekend.

Police arrested a 34-year-old man for pot possession on Bragg Street Monday afternoon.

Someone used a gun to rob a 19-year-old man on Buck Jones Road just before 11 p.m. The mugger got away with $36, the guy’s keys and a cell phone charger.

Expensive dog. Someone stole a 10-month-old pit bull from Sand Cove Court Monday evening. Value: $1,000.

White motorcycle, pink backpack. Someone stole a motorcycle from the 1200 block of Hillsborough Street Monday morning. The thief also got away with a pink backpack and a black helmet.

It’s been nice out, but you still need to close your windows. A thief broke a window screen on a Stuart Drive home and made off with a Toshiba laptop.

Someone stole a Dodge pickup truck from Capital Boulevard just after 10 Monday morning.

Last call brawl. Police arrested a 22-year-old Minnesota man for assaulting a 29-year-old Durham man at the Buckhead Saloon on West Morgan Street at about 2 Sunday morning.

Someone stole a black Lexus sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning from a lot on Compatible Way. Police recovered the car, but the thief made off with a GPS unit.

The Flying iPod. Someone stole two iPods, two laptops, a flat screen TV, a class ring and two watches from a Flying Biscuit employee and two NC State students from their home on Lexington Drive.

Someone broke the front door to Snookers Sports Pub on Wade Avenue just before 5 p.m.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man for pot possession at the Public Safety Center on S. Salisbury Street.

An anonymous caller reported shots fired from Lupton Circle just before 7 p.m.

Lock up your handguns. Someone broke a side door to a home on Brentwood Road and stole a handgun and a digital camera Sunday night.
