Just before 1 this morning, someone used a gun to rob a 27-year-old man in a lot on Calumet Drive. The armed robber got off with $70.

Sometime over the past couple days, someone busted out a window to a home on Quarry Springs Road.

Overnight, someone broke into a car on Clarion Heights Lane and stole a GPS.

Early Wednesday morning, someone broke into a truck parked on East Martin Street and stole a GPS.

You should be able to hear this thief coming. Someone broke into a car parked in a lot on the 2500 block of Avent Ferry Road and stole a set of bagpipes, a kilt, a camera and a GPS.

Police arrested a 27-year-old man for drunk driving around 3 a.m. on the 6700 block of Capital Boulevard.

Someone assaulted a 39-year-old woman at her apartment on Stillwater Point around 7:30 a.m.

Just before 8 a.m. someone broke into a car on Tee Dee Street and stole a laptop.

Police charged a 16-year-old woman with assaulting a 38-year-old man at a school on Falstaff Road around 9 Wednesday morning.

A 46-year-old woman got caught with drug paraphernalia on Boyer Road around 8:30 a.m.

RPD officers arrested a 21-year-old man for pot possession around 10:30 a.m. on Haywood Street.

Another case of “not worth it.” A 16-year-old woman got caught trying to steal a lighter from the Food Lion on North Raleigh Boulevard just after noon.

Police arrested a 20-year-old man for assaulting a 26-year-old woman with a knife around 3:30 p.m. on Brentwood Road. Both the man and the woman lived in the same apartment complex on the 3800 block of Brentwood Road.

Wednesday afternoon, someone stole a backpack, digital camera, iPod, sweatshirt and calculator out of a car parked on Habour Town Drive.

Police caught a 24-year-old man with drug paraphernalia around 2:45 Wednesday afternoon.

Back to the “not worth it” shoplifting at the same Food Lion. Someone tried to steal one large bag of Sour Patch Kids from a Food Lion on North Raleigh Boulevard just before 5 p.m.

The two most popular things to steal. Around 5 p.m. someone stole an iPod and a GPS from a car parked on National Drive.

A 33-year-old man assaulted a woman of the same age at their shared home on McGuire Woods Drive.

Out-of-town assault. Police arrested a 21-year-old Mount Olive man for assaulting a 19-year-old Fuquay Varina woman at a home on Enchanting Way just before 10 p.m.

Police arrested a 22-year-old man for assaulting a 23-year-old Clayton man at the International House of Pancakes on Hillsborough Street around 10:45 Wednesday night.

A 23-year-old man got caught with drug paraphernalia at a park on Rosehaven Drive around 11:30 p.m.

Just before midnight, police arrested a 29-year-old man for pot possession on Westinghouse Boulevard.
