The Raleigh Police Department says someone was apparently kidnapped on the 400 block of Culpepper Lane around noon today. An email from a police spokesman this afternoon said, “Witnesses said a black female was assaulted and forced into a gray sedan. The incident does not appear to be connected to Enloe High School, which is nearby. Detectives are following up on witness and investigative information and progress is being made.”

Tuesday, May 19

Early this morning someone broke into a car parked on Kings Court and stole an iPod.

A woman reported shots fired at 1:45 a.m. near Sunbow Falls Lane.

Monday, May 18

Overnight someone broke into a car on Lynn Ridge Drive and stole a cell phone and a GPS.

Early Monday morning, someone broke into a gas station at 3520 Capital Boulevard and stole a safe, $2,000 in cash and lots of lottery tickets.

Around 3 a.m. police arrested a 20-year-old man for pot possession on the 1200 block of Crosslink Drive.

Overnight someone broke into a car on Chamberlain Street and stole a GPS.

Someone broke into a car parked in a lot at 1707 Hillsborough Street and stole a GPS overnight.

A woman reported shots fired at Eastgate Park at 5:30 a.m.

Someone stole a TV and two laptops from a home on Swift Drive Monday morning.

Police arrested a 16-year-old man for trying to break into an 84-year-old woman’s home a little after 1 p.m. on Ben Lloyd Drive.

A 35-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman assaulted each other at their shared apartment on Brockton Drive around 2:30 p.m.

Monday afternoon someone broke into a car on Falls Valley Drive and stole a backpack, a laptop, an mp3 player and three coloring books.

Around 6:30 p.m. a 62-year-old woman assaulted a 43-year-old woman on Bivens Drive.

Someone reported shots fired near the 8300 block of Perry Creek Drive at 6:30 p.m.

Monday evening someone broke into a car outside of a bar at 3210 Yonkers Rd. and stole more than $3,500 worth of camera equipment.

A 56-year-old woman tried to steal two pairs of earrings from the Belk store on Old Wake Forest Road.

A 57-year-old man tried to steal a pair of high-heel shoes from a TJ Maxx store on Brier Creek Parkway around 9 p.m.

Someone stole a 2007 Honda Element from a parking lot at 300 S. Wilmington St. Monday night.

Police caught an 18-year-old Durham man with drug paraphernalia on the 800 block of South Bloodworth Street at 11:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 17

Just after midnight Sunday morning police arrested a 24-year-old Pikeville man for driving while impaired.

Someone with a gun assaulted an 18-year-old man at his home on Mallory Court Sunday evening.

Police arrested a 42-year-old man for DWI at 10 p.m. at the corner of Capital Boulevard and Westinghouse Drive.

Around 10 p.m. a Franklinton man, 26, assaulted a 27-year-old woman at her apartment on Bayridge Crossing.
