A 22-year-old woman was arrested after 3 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Garner Road in connection with fraud/identity theft.

About 1,600 feet of welding cable and 100 feet of drop cords were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1800 block of South Saunders Street between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A 51-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint in the 200 block of North Harrington Street Monday. The robber stole his wallet, $100 in cash and a U.S. Alien residential card.

Someone stole 3 feet of copper pipe, a backpack leaf blower, a heat tool and a trash can from an apartment building in the 3900 block of Water Oak Drive between 5 p.m. Friday and 9:43 a.m. Monday.

A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with assault at 1:27 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Rock Quarry Road.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested in connection with child abuse in the 1000 block of Blue Ridge Road between 10 and 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Someone reported shots fired near an apartment building in the 2400 block of Centennial Ridge Way at around 2 a.m. this morning.

Someone stole a carton of Parliament cigarettes, a bag of Jolly Ranchers candy and a Payday candy bar from a convenience store in the 3600 block of Hillsborough Street at around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone reported shots fired in the 6400 block of Lakeway Drive at around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole a garage door opener and a white laptop from a home in the 8400 block of Society Place between 5:30 and 9 p.m. Tuesday.

A 52-year-old man was arrested in connection with drunk and disorderly in the 1900 block of Hawkins Street around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole $500 from a home in the 2500 block of Sylvia Dean Street at around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole a cell phone in a black rubber case from a location in the 4100 block of Green Road between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole 10 pairs of women’s panties, two pairs of Levi slim fit jeans, one large container of Chicklets gum, one 12 oz. bottle of store brand baby oil and two books between 4 and 5 p.m. Tuesday at a shopping center in the 1700 block of New Hope Church Road.  A 24-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the crime. The items were recovered.

Someone stole a laptop, a Blackjack AT&T cell phone, a silver laptop, two Xbox video games and small tan safe containing $2,300 in cash from a home in the 900 block of Southgate Drive between 1 and 3:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole a black Phantom Verizon phone from a home in the 2200 block of Violet Bluff Court between 4 and 5:43 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole a black wallet containing a driver’s license, $100 and a Bank of America debit card from a location in the 2400 block of Laurel Falls Lane around noon Tuesday.

Someone stole a black and gray Dooney and Burke purse, 60mg of Cimbalta, an unknown amount of Provigil, four credit cards, a Bank of America checkbook and an EPI pen from an office building in the 3300 block of Benson Drive between noon and 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole a men’s gold ring with a cubic zirconium stone, a gold stud earring, a gold class ring with a sapphire stone, a gold necklace with an eagle charm, a gold bracelet, a gold anklet, two pairs of gold hoop earrings, and a gold ring with a heart-shaped diamond from a home in the 6600 block of Clarksburg Place between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole a black 9MM semi-automatic  gun from a car parked in the 2700 block of Snowy Meadow Court between 12:58 and 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole a black digital camera and a black laptop from a car parked in the 5300 block of East Wayne Street between 4 p.m. Monday and 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole a burgundy cell phone from a home in the 2600 block of Valley Haven Drive between 5 p.m. Monday and 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole a Wachovia Gold debit card, a black laptop, a black light UV cannonballs and a box with four lasers from a bar in the 600 block of Creekside Drive between 8 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole $150 in cash and a Visa credit card from a vehicle parked in the 7300 block of Lynn Cove Lane between 11 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.

A gas-powered mower was stolen from the yard of a home in the 1300 block of State Street between 4:40 p.m. Monday and 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Someone stole $100 in cash and a blank personal  check from a hospital in the 4400 block of Lake Boone Trail between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Friday.

Someone stole a blue piggy bank with a red bandana, $100 in loose change and a woman’s gold wedding ring from an apartment in the 3300 block of Grove Crabtree Court between 11:30 a.m. Monday and 2:45 a.m. Tuesday.

A 26-year-old man was arrested shortly after midnight Tuesday morning in the 1800 block of Capital Boulevard in connection with driving while impaired.

Someone stole a black 2004 Kia Motor Sorento from a home in the 9000 block of Langwood Drive between 9 and 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Someone stole a black .38 revolver from a home in the 2300 block of Carthage Drive between 3:58 and 4:42 p.m. Monday.

A 57-year-old man was arrested in connection with drug possession at about 3 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Bragg Street.

Someone stole a 2002 tan Jeep Liberty from an apartment building in the 7300 block of Leesville Road between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 11:33 a.m. Monday.

Someone stole a Panasonic radio and one tire from a 1994 Oldsmobile while it was parked at an apartment building in the 5300 block of Wayne Street around 8:30 a.m. Monday.

A 23-year-old man was arrested in connection with possession of marijuana at about 10:40 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of South State Street.

Someone stole 1 pair of white shoes, 1 pair of black boots, 12 chicken wings, three white King-sized pillow cases, one candy bar, one ham and swiss sandwich, one Tinkerbell hat and glove set and one Tinkerbell scar from a store in the 10000 block of Glenwood Avenue. Two women, ages 16 and 22, were arrested in connection. The items were recovered.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested in connection with driving while impaired in the 2700 block of Western Boulevard around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
