Police arrested a 20-year-old man for exposing himself to customers at a New Hope Church Road Walmart at about 11 Sunday morning.

Saturday at about 2:30 p.m. two people who knew each other got into an argument and one man poked the other in the eye with his finger and then, according to police, slapped the 17-year-old victim across the face with a gun. Police say they have not arrested the suspect.

Tuesday, April 7

Someone stole a needle point wall hanging, valued at $2,000, from a home on the 200 block of Shepherd Street sometime after midnight.

Police arrested a 27-year-old man for driving while impaired on Millbrook Road just after 2:30 this morning.

Have people not heard of DWI? Police arrested a 25-year-old man for driving while impaired on Morning Dove Road just after midnight.

Police arrested a 26-year-old Fayetteville man for assaulting a 21-year-old Benson man with a gun on Glenwood South just before 1:30 Tuesday morning.

Someone broke into a car at an apartment on Sandy Forks Road and stole a stereo early Tuesday morning.

Early Tuesday morning, someone broke into a coin-operated air pump and stole an unknown amount of quarters from a gas station on Jones Sausage Road.

A thief with a taste for music (or pawn shops) stole two speakers and two amps from a car parked on Lake Hill Drive overnight.

The speakers are almost understandable, but… Someone stole the bumper off a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, they also made off with two speakers and a CD player from Circle Bank Drive.

Police arrested a 27-year-old man for pot possession at Hill and Fields of Broadlands streets just after midnight.

Shouldn’t you be studying anyway? Someone stole a flat-screen TV, X-Box 360, two controllers and a Call of Duty 4 X-Box game from an NC State student’s apartment on Wolf Park Drive.

At about 3 Tuesday morning, police arrested a 32-year-old man for driving while impaired on Whitaker Mill Road.

Someone assaulted a 20-year-old woman and stole her purse on Seawright Place Tuesday morning.

Police arrested a man and a woman from Lillington, 20 and 21, respectively, for drug possession on the 2600 block of South Saunders Street early Tuesday afternoon.

Someone spray painted what the police call “gang graffiti” on a wall at the Brentwood East Apartments on Bonneville Court.

Again at the Brentwood East Apartments, someone stole a Trane HVAC pump valued at about $1,000 overnight.

Police arrested a 19-year-old man for assaulting a 24-year-old woman at their shared home on Bluebeard Way.

A 39-year-old woman assaulted a 40-year-old man at their shared home before 3 a.m.

Someone broke into a house on Lake Trout Lane Tuesday night and made off with a laptop, Playstation and a Nintendo Wii.

Police arrested a 17-year-old man for pot possession on Haywood Street just before 10:30 p.m.

Someone broke into an ’87 Mercedes and stole an entire drumset, sticks, stool and all, from an apartment building on Summit Arbor Drive. Two other cars at the apartment building were also broken into.

A 43-year-old woman parked her car on Western Boulevard only to have her GPS stolen late Tuesday evening.

Someone stole an iPod and $70 from a 16-year-old woman’s car Tuesday morning.

A would-be thief broke in the door to an 86-year-old woman’s house on St. George Street just before 10 Tuesday night.

Police arrested a 41-year-old woman for stealing 12 pieces of bread and one bag of Cheetos from a S. Saunders Street convenience store.

Monday, April 6

Stealing puppies. Someone broke in a door and stole three pitbull puppies from a house on Fieldcross Court late Monday night.

Someone caused more than $47,000 in damage to an AC unit on Yonkers Road and stole 10 pounds of copper, valued at $5,000.

Police arrested three women, 16, 18 and 19, for shoplifting at the Walmart on New Bern Avenue at about 4 Monday afternoon.

Someone broke into a home on Brentwood Road and stole a jar of assorted change.

RPD officers arrested a 31-year-old Wendell man for stealing a prescription pad from the Duke Raleigh Hospital.
