On Sunday a 59-year-old man, upset with his 62-year-old ex-girlfriend, assaulted his ex and two other women, 47 and 20, at a home at 227 Waldrop St. The man also assaulted a medic who was called to the scene. Police charged the man with three counts of assault, resisting arrest, communicating threats and possessing drug paraphernalia. A police spokeswoman says the man was on drugs at the time, but couldn’t say what he was on.

On Monday, police arrested a 16-year-old East Raleigh High School student for arson after he used a lighter to set a toilet paper roll on fire in a bathroom.

Just after midnight today, someone used a gun to rob a 23-year-old man on the 3600 block of Tryon Road. The mugger got off with $9.

At 1:15 this morning, a 21-year-old man robbed another man of the same age at an apartment on Compatible Way. Police arrested the suspect a little over an hour later.

Someone broke into the Biscuit Station restaurant at 100 N. Person St. and stole one box of ham just after 2 a.m.

Someone assaulted a 44-year-old woman just before 3 a.m. outside the Waffle House on the 3900 block of Hillsborough Street.

Around 4:30 a.m. someone assaulted a 35-year-old woman outside her home on South Bloodworth Street.

Aren’t radar detectors illegal in North Carolina? Someone stole a CD player and a radar detector out of a car parked on Ashland Gate Drive overnight.

Over the past couple months, someone managed to steal about $5,300 from the Raleigh Eye Center on Executive Drive.

Someone with a gun robbed a 57-year-old man at his Gilbert Avenue home just before 2 a.m.

Around 7 a.m. a 16-year-old man assaulted a 39-year-old woman at their shared apartment on Ridgeway Court.

Someone assaulted a 51-year-old woman at her home on Slippery Elm Drive at 7:30 a.m.

An 18-year-old Sanderson High School student assaulted a teacher at the school just before 10 a.m.

Around 11 a.m. a 19-year-old man assaulted an 18-year-old woman at their shared Thoroughbred Lane apartment.

Stealing a picture of yourself. Tuesday morning, someone stole three pairs of jeans, two pairs of plastic earrings, one pair of calf-length black boots and a “framed picture of suspect and children” from an apartment on Pebble Beach Drive.

A little after 4 p.m. someone used a gun to mug a 24-year-old woman on the 500 block of East Davie Street. The robber stole a purse with almost $200 and a pink digital camera.

Someone stole a bicycle from Oberlin Road Tuesday afternoon.

A Connecticut woman, 36, tried to shoplift from a Walmart on Glenwood Avenue around 1 p.m.

During the day someone stole more than $3,000 worth of jewelry and old coins from a house on Victoria Townes Lane.

Around 6 p.m. someone stole a laptop out of a car parked on Falls Valley Drive.

So, people really do steal piggy banks. Sometime Tuesday, someone stole an XBox 360, a video camera, $200 and one red piggy bank from an apartment on North New Hope Road.

Someone tried to break into a home on Comstock Road at 6:15 p.m.

Around 6:30 p.m. someone reported two women, 33 and 54, “engaging in affray” on Seagrams Court. The two woman live on the same block on the street.

During the day, someone broke into a car on Russ Street and stole a laptop, an mp3 player and a watch from a Knightdale man.

Police arrested a 43-year-old woman for disorderly conduct at a home on the 2100 block of Spring Forest Road just after 7 Tuesday evening.

Someone smashed the front window to an apartment on the 1200 block of North Raleigh Boulevard at 7:20 p.m.

Tuesday evening, someone stole $390 in a bank envelope from a supermarket on Creedmoor Road.

Police arrested a 19-year-old man for driving while impaired at about 8 p.m. on Steinbeck Drive.

Around 11:30 last night, someone assaulted a 23-year-old woman at her home on Haverty Drive.

Overnight, someone slashed a woman’s tires while her car was parked outside her home on Sweetbriar Drive.

Someone stole a surveillance camera overnight from a store on Western Boulevard.

Police arrested three men, all Broughton High School students, Monday morning for stealing four iPods, three cell phones, a camera and more than $300 from several fellow students last week.

During the day, someone broke into a home on Dechart Lane and stole $300, a digital camera and $800 worth of jewelry.

Someone stole a flat-screen TV from a home on Chester Drive during the day.

Police arrested a 21-year-old woman for using a gun to rob a Shell gas station at 7400 Louisburg Rd. around 9:30 p.m. She tried to steal $80 worth of cigarettes and cigars.

Just after 10 p.m. someone assaulted a 50-year-old woman at her Battery Drive home.
