Someone broke into a car parked on Brier Creek Parkway and stole a GPS around 1 a.m.

Someone stole a CD player and a DVD player out of a car parked on the 2100 block of New Bern Avenue overnight.

Around 10:30 a.m. a 43-year-old woman got caught with pot.

Wednesday morning someone stole a bike from the 2300 block of Spring Forest Road.

Overnight someone broke into a car on the 1600 block of East Martin Street and stole a blue back pack and one pair of Nike Hyper Dunks valued at $50.

Someone broke into a car parked on King Richard Road and stole an expensive CD player just after 9 a.m.

Around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon someone assaulted a 33-year-old woman at her apartment on Lake Woodard Drive.

At 3 p.m. a 29-year-old man assaulted a woman, 49, at her Burgandy Street apartment.

Two 17-year-old men, one from Louisburg and the other from Wake Forest, tried to steal one fake gold ring from the Hudson Belk on Old Wake Forest Road at 5 p.m.

Someone broke into a house on the 8300 block of Perry Creek Road and stole two gold rings, a gold watch and a gold chain.

A 16-year-old man got caught attempting to steal one black hair net from the Food Lion on Poole Road around 5 p.m.

They got the whole set up. Wednesday night someone stole a laptop, TV, an XBox, 11 XBox games, a Playstation 3 and the game Grand Theft Auto from an NC State student’s apartment on Carlton Avenue.

A woman reported shots fired on the 1700 block of Bennett Street at 9:15 p.m.

Wednesday night someone assaulted two Cardinal Gibbons High School students at their home on Transylvania Avenue.

Just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday evening a man reported shots fired on Galand Court.

A 22-year-old got caught with weed at an apartment on Netwon Road around 10:30 p.m.

Wednesday evening someone stole a flat-screen TV from an apartment on Brookside Drive.

Just before midnight someone broke a window to a home on St. Augustine Avenue.

Police arrested a 42-year-old man for DWI at the corner of Duraleigh and Edwards Mill Road at about 11:40 Wednesday night.
