Around 10 a.m. someone got arrested while attempting to steal 10 cartons of Newport Cigarettes from the Food Lion on the 5000 block of Creedmoor Road.
A 45-year-old man was assaulted by a 36-year-old man at 9:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of Edwards Mill Road.
Overnight someone stole one pair of white DC low tops and a skate board from a car on the 4100 block of Grand Manor.
Someone stole 100 Alprazolam pills from a 71-year-old woman at 1:30 p.m. on the 6000 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Around 5 p.m. a woman assaulted a 57-year-old man at his home on Lake Woodard Drive.
