Just after midnight this morning police caught a 23-year-old Durham man carrying a concealed weapon along Spring Forest Road.

Police arrested a 46-year-old man for DWI on the 8800 block of Capital Boulevard around 2:30 this morning.

A 23-year-old man assaulted a woman, 26, at their shared apartment on the 800 block of South Bloodworth Street.

Wednesday, May 20

Overnight someone punctured two tires to a car parked on Kentwell Place.

Someone broke into a car on Oak Lake Court and stole a GPS overnight.

Someone assaulted a 25-year-old woman at her apartment on Amber Lantern Street around 2 Wednesday morning.

Police arrested a 22-year-old man for pot possession after stopping his car on the 1400 block of Crest Road around 2:30 a.m.

Overnight someone broke into a car on Woods of North Bend Drive and stole a GPS.

Early Wednesday morning someone broke seven windows to a home on Polly Street.

Around 11 a.m. a 44-year-old woman tried to steal clothing and beauty products from the Family Dollar store on Lake Wheeler Road.

Police arrested an 18-year-old man for pot possession on Mallard Grove Drive around 4 p.m.

During the day someone stole $1,300 from a home on the 4200  block of Six Forks Road.

Wednesday afternoon someone stole three vials of insulin and a Rossi .38 revolver from an apartment on the 500 block of Glenwood Avenue.

Police arrested a 50-year-old Wendell man for pot possession on the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 7 p.m.

Someone assaulted a 46-year-old man on the 1200 block of South Bloodworth Street around 7:30 p.m.

Someone with a knife mugged a 22-year-old man on the 2200 block of Foxridge Manor Road just after 7:30 p.m. The robber got off with a wallet and $50.

A woman reported shots fired near Gumwood Lane just before 11 p.m.

Tuesday, May 19

Around noon someone assaulted a 19-year-old man on the 4400 block of Six Forks Road.

During the day Tuesday someone stole a laptop, $10 in change and two nail guns from a home on Town and Country Road. Police also found a hammer “lodged in the TV screen.”

Police arrested two men, 30 and 61, for selling pot on the 200 block of South Blount Street.
