Overnight someone broke into a car on Chatahoochie Lane and stole a GPS.

Police arrested two men, 33 and 37, for selling pot on the 6000 block of Inona Place just before 1 p.m.

At about noon Friday someone broke into a car on the 7900 block of Old Wake Forest and stole two checkbooks and a cell phone charger.

Between 2 and 2:30 p.m. a 63-year-old woman tried to steal two pairs of pants, one pink shirt, a light bulb, a table cloth, a measuring spoon and a kitchen knife from a Wal-Mart on Glenwood Avenue.

Someone assaulted a 25-year-old Wake Forest woman at Fox Road Elementary a little after 2 p.m.

Friday afternoon someone stole a red riding mower from a landscaping company working on Dunn Road.

A man reported shots fired near Wingate Drive at about 10:15.

Just before 11 p.m. police arrested a 29-year-old man for attempted rape on the 100 block of North Tarboro Road.
