Overnight someone broke into the Athletes Foot store on Triangle Plantation Drive. The robber or robbers tore the security cameras from the walls, damages the electrical and phone boxes, ripped drywall down and pried open the safe. They got away with $1,279, a computer and 50 pairs of shoes valued at more than $5,000.
At 2 a.m. police caught a 22-year-old man with drugs in his car at the corner of Comstock Drive and Roller Court.
Police arrested a Wendell man, 29, for DWI on the 5400 block of Six Forks Road at 3 a.m.
Police arrested a woman, 29, for driving while impaired on the 300 block of West Edenton Street at about 4:30 a.m.
At about 4:40 a.m. police arrested a 25-year-old woman for DWI at the corner of Gresham Lake Road and Reba Drive.
Police arrested a 24-year-old woman for driving under the influence at 6 a.m. on the 500 block of Cardamon Court.
At about 8:40 a.m. a Greenville man, 22, assaulted two women, 24 and 30, at her Avent Ridge Road apartment.
A 31-year-old man assaulted a woman, 27, at their shared Crown Court apartment at 11:30 a.m.
At 1:45 p.m. police arrested a 22-year-old man for selling drugs on the 200 block of Camden Street.
Police caught a man, 20, and a woman, 21, with pot in their shared apartment on the 1500 block of Sunbow Falls Lane just before 2 p.m.
At about 2:15 p.m. police arrested a man, 55, for selling pot on the 200 block of Heck Street.
A 20-year-old man tried to shoplift from the Kohl’s store on Alexander Promenade at 2:45 p.m.
Police arrested a 23-year-old man for selling drugs on the 200 block of Hill Street at about 3 p.m.
At 3:30 p.m. someone assaulted a 33-year-old man at a convenience store at 4431 New Bern Ave.
Police arrested a man, 40, for selling drugs on the 1200 block of South Bloodworth Street at about 6 p.m.

Just after midnight someone reported shots fired near the 3800 block of Brentwood Road.
At 12:15 a.m. someone stole 10 packs of Newport cigarettes from El Ranchito Mexican Store at 3110 New Bern Ave.
Some time shortly after midnight someone broke into a car on the 1100 block of Navaho Drive and stole a sound system.
At about 2 a.m. police arrested a man, 25, for driving while impaired on the 100 block of MLK Boulevard. They also caught a 23-year-old man with pot at the same time.
Police arrested a man, 22, and a woman, 26, for having pot in their Coolridge Court apartment.
Overnight someone broke a mailbox at a home on the 2800 block of Poole Road.

Overnight someone stole more than $115,000 worth of construction equipment out of three AT&T trucks parked in a lot at 404 Hubert St.
Someone slashed a tire on a BMW parked on the 4100 block of Amherst Lane overnight.
Just before 10 a.m. someone assaulted a 39-year-old woman at her Hightower Drive home.
Police arrested a 21-year-old Garner man for selling drugs at a home on the 1500 block of Pender Street at 11:30 a.m.
During the day someone stole a 2002 Volkswagen Passat from the 100 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Police arrested a 54-year-old woman for prostitution on the 1100 block of Boyer Street at about 2:15 p.m.
At about 2:30 police arrested a woman, 46, for prostitution on the 800 block of East Martin Street.
A Greensboro woman, 18, tried to steal more than $100 in cloths from the Sears on Old Wake Forest Road at 2:30 p.m.
At about 3 p.m. police arrested a 23-year-old woman for prostitution on the 900 block of East Davie Street.
Just after 3 p.m. police arrested a Garner woman, 44, for prostitution on the 400 block of Branch Street.
At about 5 p.m. a 38-year-old man tried to steal two watches, two bundles of socks and a pair of black ear muffs from the Hudson Belk at 7500 Old Wake Forest Rd.
Between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. someone stole a purse, a phone and $1,220 in cash from a gas station at 3520 Capital Blvd.
Someone stole a camera out of a car parked on the 2900 block of Citrus Glen Drive just after 6 p.m.
Someone on Wolf Park Drive reported shots fired just before 6:30 p.m.
Just before 7 p.m. a 19-year-old man tried to steal a grape soda and some candy, all valued at $14.99, from the Kroger at 1610 MLK Blvd.
Police arrested a man, 46, for driving while impaired on the 700 block of St. Mary’s Street at 7 p.m.
At 8:40 p.m. police caught a 25-year-old man with pot on the 1800 block of Garner Road.
Just before 9:30 p.m. police arrested two men, 47 and 49, for having pot in their car on the 1900 block of MLK Boulevard.
Police arrested a Wendell woman, 34, for DWI on the 3800 block of New Bern Avenue at 9:40 p.m.
At about 9:45 p.m. a woman, 19, tried to steal $112.94 in “assorted women’s clothing” from the Target at North Hills shopping center.
Just before midnight someone with a gun robbed an apartment on the 5900 block of Shadetree Lane. The robber got off with $140 and a cell phone.
