Just after midnight someone with a gun stole a black flip-phone from an apartment on the 2200 block of Charles Drive.

Thursday

At about 8:30 a.m. a black fanny pack containing various ID cards was stolen from a car parked on the 7900 block of Brandyapple Road.

A Cary woman, 19, reported a GPS unit stolen from her car early in the morning on the 2100 block of Deep Forest Trail.

At about 10:30 in the morning a woman, 34, reported a cell phone, loose change, 40 CDs and a purple, yellow, and white striped purse stolen from her car on the 1000 block of Oberlin Road.

At 11:08 a.m. a bottle of wine was reported stolen from a house on the 2000 block of Fieldhouse Avenue.

Just before noon an all-purpose trailer was reported stolen from an office building on the 2800 block of Yonkers Road.

At noon a textbook, student ID, social security card, debit and credit cards were reported stolen from a car on the 500 block of Salisbury Street.

Just after noon two very expensive handbags were reported stolen from the Saks Fifth Avenue on the 7700 block of Old Wake Forest Road.

Two woman, ages 21 and 20, were arrested for pot possession just before 1 p.m. on the 800 block of Cape Avenue.

At about 1 p.m. a Buick Century containing a lawn vacuum was reported stolen from the 3700 block of Essie Street.

Just before 1:30 p.m. a Liz Claiborne purse was snatched from a 78-year-old woman in a parking lot on the 4400 block of New Bern Avenue.

At about 2 p.m. a man, 49, reported that his scooter had been hijacked on the 200 block of Hawthorne Street.

A radar detector, iPod touch, and a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses were reported stolen just before 3 p.m. from a car parked on the 6300 block of Terra Verde Drive.

At about 4 p.m. a woman, 21, reported the theft of several gold rings and her dad’s 1974 class ring from a house on the 700 block of East Whitaker Mill Road.

Just after 4 p.m. a silver moped was reported stolen from a parking lot on the 3100 block of Cavalry Drive.

Someone stole 16 pounds of copper and an air conditioning unit during the day from a house on the 4000 block of Greenleaf Street.

At some point late Thursday afternoon a Chevy Malibu was stolen from a parking lot on the 200 block of Wolfe Street.

At about 8 p.m. a pink Sanyo phone, $250 cash, and a Jessica Simpson wig were stolen at gunpoint from a department store on the 4500 block of Falls of the Neuse Road.

At 9:40 p.m. two cell phones and $2500 cash were reported stolen from a business on the 3800 block of Hillsborough Street.

Just after 10 p.m. someone reported shots fired on the 700 block of Mills Street.

At about 11 p.m. a woman, 26, was arrested for pot possession on the 4300 block of Glenwood Avenue.

Just before midnight a man, 23, was arrested in connection with selling pot on the 4300 block of Western Boulevard.

Wednesday

At about 7:30 a.m. someone wrecked a Hyundai on the 9100 block of Glenwood Avenue.

Just after 1 p.m. a 29-year-old male was arrested for pot possession on the 3200 block of Capitol Boulevard.

A 16-year-old male was arrested for pot possession late this morning on the 700 block of Saint Mary’s Street.

At 2:30 p.m. a man, 18, was arrested for having drug paraphernalia on the 2100 block of Ravenglass Place.

At about 8 p.m. someone punched a hole in the wall of a bedroom on the 1400 block of Griffin Circle.

Just after 10:30 p.m. a woman, 71, reported damage to her bird bath on the 6900 block of Glenferrie Court.

Three men, ages 23, 21 and 20, were arrested just before midnight for selling pot on the 4500 block of Tournament Drive.
