Sometime before the Meineke Car Care Center on Capital Boulevard opened for the day, someone broke into the garage and stole $30 in change.

Someone broke into a car on the 1200 block of Hillsborough Street and stole a GPS.

Early Thursday morning, someone stole $300, a digital camera and a wallet out of a car parked on Paula Street.

Overnight, someone broke into a car on Sherrybrook Drive and stole $10.

Police arrested a 46-year-old man for kidnapping a 29-year-old woman on East Lenoir Street Wednesday afternoon.

Thieves into sharing: police arrested four men, all 18 through 20, for robbing a 21-year-old Garner man on South Blount Street at 7 p.m. The four stole a watch, a pair of size 8.5 sneakers, a cell phone and $50.
