Overnight, someone walked off with a flat-screen TV from an apartment on Collegeview Avenue.

Tuesday, April 28

Overnight, someone stole two laptops from an office on the 5000 block of Falls of the Neuse Road.

Sometime early Tuesday morning, someone broke into a car parked on Halifax Street and stole a GPS.

Someone smashed in the front driver’s side window to a car parked on South Bloodworth Street overnight and stole a shoulder bag.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man for selling pot out of his apartment on the 5100 block of New Hope Road around noon.

At 12:30 p.m. someone assaulted a 22-year-old woman at her apartment on Roundstone Drive.

Someone used a gun to rob a mattress store on the 5200 block of Capital Boulevard around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon and made off with $12.

Just before 1 p.m. police caught a 16-year-old man with weed at his Tralee Place apartment.

A 23-year-old man assaulted a 31-year-old woman at her home around 2:30 p.m. and broke two doors.

Around 4 p.m. someone with a gun assaulted a 42-year-old woman at her home on Walnut Street.

A 16-year-old woman tried to steal a pair of purple earrings and “a pink micro thong” from the Sears on Old Wake Forest Road around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon.

A 46-year-old woman got caught with drug paraphernalia at a home on the 800 block of East Hargett Street just after 6 p.m.

Around 8 p.m. police caught an 18-year-old man trying to steal “$.06 in US currency” from a car parked on North West Street.

Lightnin’ Hopkins, maybe?  Someone stole a rifle, a shotgun and an acoustic guitar from a home on Carolina Avenue Tuesday night.

Just before 11 Tuesday night, police caught a 28-year-old man with pot near Broughton High School on St. Mary’s Street.

A woman reported shots fired around 11 p.m. near South Colorado Drive.

Someone broke in a window and assaulted a 19-year-old woman with a gun at her home on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at 11 p.m.

Around 11:30 p.m. someone mugged a 30-year-old man on the 600 West Lenoir Street.

Monday, April 27

Overnight, someone stole a laptop and a purse from a home on Battery Drive.

Around 4 Monday morning, someone assaulted a 31-year-old man with a knife at his home on Haywood Street.

Someone assaulted a 41-year-old woman at her home on Hobhouse  Circle at about 9:15  Monday night.

Police arrested a 16-year-old man for stealing a laptop from an apartment on Pangea Lane during the day.

Monday afternoon, someone stole $1,600 worth of copper from a building on the 8700 block of Glenwood Avenue.

No swearing.  Police arrested a 42-year-old man for DWI on Heck Street around 10:30 p.m.
