Overnight someone broke into a home on South King Charles Road and stole a TV, computer and a CD player.

Sometime overnight someone stole a purse and $40 from a car on Colleton Road. Police later found the purse.

Over the weekend someone stole USA Today newspaper racks from gas stations on Leadmine and Leesville roads.

At 2 Monday morning someone stole $10 worth of food and a portable CD player, and damaged a cell phone at a home on Lake Wheeler Road.

Overnight someone stole a digital camera, an iPod and $220 from a car parked on Timber Creek Lane.

A 20-year-old woman assaulted a 23-year-old man at 8:30 a.m. on the 4300 block of Glenwood Avenue.

At about 9:30 a.m. someone assaulted a 24-year-old man at his home on Boaz Road.

Monday afternoon at 3, someone stole a weedeater out of a car on the 4900 block of Capital Boulevard.

Someone assaulted a 24-year-old woman on the 6700 block of Magnolia Court at 8:30 p.m.

Two men, both 17, tried to steal a 24-pack of Miller High Life from a Kroger on the 7900 block of Falls of Neuse Road at 10:30 p.m.

Early Sunday morning someone stole a black purse, a bank card and $11 from a car on Lord Berkley Road. Police later found the purse.

Someone stole a GPS and a car DVD player from a car parked on Wynbrook Way overnight.

Police arrested a man, 19, and a woman, 20,  for DWI in a parking lot on the 6600 block of Falls of Neuse Road at 1:30 a.m.

Sometime over the weekend, someone slashed a tire on a car parked on Skylark Way.

Overnight someone stole a pink wallet, a driver’s license and a social security card from a car on Van Thomas Drive.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man for driving while impaired at the intersection of Old Wake Forest Road and Oak Forest Road at 2 a.m.

At 3 a.m. police arrested a 19-year-old man for driving while impared on the 5100 block of Capital Boulvard.

At 7 Sunday morning, a 26-year-old man stole $12 from a Knightdale woman, 37, on Freeman Street. Police later arrested the man.

Sunday morning, a 21-year-old woman and a man, 27, assaulted each other outside of their shared Brockton Drive apartment.

Just before 8 a.m. a 31-year-old man assaulted a 28-year-old woman on the 4100 block of Rock Quarry Road.

At noon Sunday someone assaulted a 40-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man at their home on Shenandoah Road.

Police arrested an 18-year-old man for pot possession in a parking lot on the 4500 block of Capital Boulevard at 1:30 p.m.

Someone with a gun assaulted a 18-year-old woman and two men, 16 and 22, while they were in a car on the 200 block of South King Charles Road at 2 Sunday afternoon.

At 3:30 p.m. two women, 19 and 28, tried to shoplift from a Target store on Green Road.

A 59-year-old man tried to steal $55 worth of food from a Food Lion on Westen Boulvard at 5:30 Sunday evening.

Someone stole a pair of shorts, a tank top, a wallet and a cell phone painted with pink nail polish from an 18-year-old woman on Wolf Creek Circle.

At 7:30 p.m. two people walked out without paying after eating at the Jumbo China Buffet on Ronald Drive.

Police arrest an 18-year-old Boone man at 9 p.m. for pot possession in a park on Spring Forest Road.

Just after 9 Sunday night a 33-year-old woman assaulted a Garner woman, 29, at a home on Ventana Lane.

At 10:30 p.m. someone assaulted a 26-year-old woman at her home on the 5113 block of New Hope Road.

A little after 11:30 p.m. a man, 35, assaulted a 40-year-old woman outside of her apartment on Holston Lane.
