Local favorite Dillon Fence is back at it for a show at the Lincoln Theatre Friday. There once was a time when these guys, along with The Connells, were Kings of this area. Times change and the members went their own way, but it is a real treat that they come together every so often to give us a taste of their great sound. (Photo Courtesy of TriangleMusic.com.)

Ska is not passe' - at least in the eyes of Triangle-based The Archbishops of Blount Street. They play a double-bill with The Slackers on Sunday at The Pourhouse. This ensemble blends originals and covers - with heavy Ska/Funk/Reggae overtones to look and sound like National Acts like The Mighty Boss Tones and The Pietasters. The weekend is not over yet - get out on Sunday night and party with the Kings of Party. (Photo Courtesy of Band.)
