Former Cross Canadian Ragweed great Cody Canada brings his new edition, The Departed, to the Lincoln Theatre for a Thursday night show. A true treat for Raleigh, Cody and his band are some of the best in their genre bending folk/bluegrass/americana style. I liken them a lot to Leftover Salmon in the way that they can master and blend the genres for a great sound. Come out for a great night of top-notch music. (Photo Courtesy of Cody Canada)

While Not Playing in Raleigh this week, I have to give a shout out to Local Band, Delta Rae, who has done good and was just been signed by Warner Brothers Music last week. In one of my original reviews of them, I stated that it was not a matter of "if" it was a matter of "when" they would make it to the big show. Their talent and love for music is inspiring and this is a great move for them. Good Luck, although I doubt you will need it. (Photo Courtesy of Rob Mosely - Pics R Easy)
