A man robbed the BB&T at 611 Oberlin Rd. Thursday just before 1:30 p.m. A Raleigh Police Department spokesman said the man gave the teller a note that implied he had a gun. The teller met the robber’s demands and then the man left on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male of medium build who stands between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. He has short, dark hair and was wearing a dark-colored sport coat and shirt, light colored trousers and sunglasses. The suspect was thought to be in his thirties or forties.
