Wake County Commissioners Monday approved a contract with Marathon Health to manage and operate a new employee health clinic that would be free to use by county staff.
Marathon will operate the clinic for an annual fee of about $400,000 per year after a $55,000 start-up fee.
Because county staff expect that the clinic will save money on insurance claims, no additional funds were requested.
