Children from Erwin Elementary School in Harnett County were in Raleigh on Tuesday to help with Military Appreciation Day celebrations. Students were given American flags, and before formal instructions were given as to where they would stand, the children took off and created their own celebration on the capitol grounds in downtown Raleigh.
