The public is invited to share input on two concept designs for public plazas downtown.
The meeting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the COR Museum Lobby, 220 Faytteville St.
The two plazas connect Fayetteville Street to Wilmington Street and the Moore Square Transit Station. These pedestrian plazas were originally built in the 1960s through a private-public partnership between Wachovia, Raleigh Bank and Trust, and the City of Raleigh. Updates for these plazas coincide with the renovation to the former Wachovia Building, 227 Fayetteville Street.
Funding for this project comes from bond money associated with the original Fayetteville Street Renaissance. For more information, visit the event web page.
