Planning Commissioners Tuesday recommended denial of a controversial rezoning request in the Falls Lake Watershed. They also voted to approve plans for a new parking deck at Rex Hospital and an Enterprise Car Sales on Glenwood Avenue.

Planning Commissioners this week approved the rezoning of a Hillsborough Street building and a piece of land on Poole Road, sent a rezoning case for Ray Road and Bland Road to the Committee of the Whole, and deferred the rezoning of Ebenezer Church Road. They approved expansion plans for Our Lady of Lourdes as well as the new Sunshine Building.
