The Whites have been married for 19 years – and they love living in Raleigh almost as much as they love each other. They say their Avent West neighborhood, which runs loosely between Avent Ferry and Western Boulevard, is one of the city’s best-keep secrets.
Beyond their own neighborhood, the Whites say they love the city – Jennifer in particular noted that she wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Jeff loves the city’s music scene, in particular the annual Wide Open Bluegrass Festival.
As they made a few last sales – which included a few giveaways – Jennifer smiled and said she loves talking about Raleigh, so much so that her friends say she should work for the Chamber of Commerce. And if she ever does make a career change – promoting the city is right up her alley.
