Raleigh City Councilors will head to the coast for its first retreat with the new city manager.
City Councilors Tuesday approved a permit for the Saturday Market at Rebus Works to operate through the end of June 2014. Meanwhile, a request to close Franklin Street was put on hold until February.
Councilors Tuesday approved a new, but temporary, food distribution facility downtown for Raleigh’s homeless. They also approved a loan for an affordable housing development and made new committee assignments. Councilors also set public hearings for three rezoning cases and approved road races for the early part of the winter.
