The Wake County Board of Commissioners voted Monday to adopt the $810 million school bond referendum and present it to voters in the fall.
A pedestrian bridge connecting a Salisbury Street parking deck to the lower end of Halifax Mall is under construction on North Salisbury Street. A previous concrete bridge was out of use since 2008 because of disrepair. The new design will include steel and aluminum panels.
