Ask him what his name is and he’ll tell you. “They call me Slim from Stem. Do you know where Stem is?”
Slim and his red guitar and technical playing are a regular feature on Fayetteville Street, normally in front of the post office at the intersection with Martin Street. In this photo he came out to play in the cool air midday Tuesday after a long summer’s worth of heat and two full days of rain. In this shot he’s playing, and singing, his rendition of the Otis Redding classic Sitting on the Dock of the Bay.
