Lorenzo Gatto, left, along with Bonnie Thron, Principal Cellist with the North Carolina Symphony, receive a standing ovation after Wednesday night’s performance at Burning Coal Theater in downtown Raleigh. Gatto, a Brussles native, has been elected Rising Star 2010-11 in Europe and will soon perform in major European cities. Thron joined Gatto to perform the final duet. Gatto’s appearance was sponsored by the Cross Currents Chamber Music Arts Festival.
