Sometime between August 12 and august 18, someone stole $3320 worth of power tools from a vehicle parked at 8713 Glenwood Ave.

Someone stole speakers, an amplifier, and an “E-Z toll pass for the New York turnpike” from a vehicle on the 10300 block of Arrow Creek Drive sometime between Sunday and Tuesday.

Someone stole speakers and an amplifier from a car parked in a parking lot at 10940 Hamilton Club Dr. sometime overnight.

Overnight, someone stole a GPS from a car parked in the parking lot at 1505 Hillsborough St.

A man, 39, was arrested by police for stealing a GPS from a car parked near 300 Hillsborough Street between 2:00 and 3:30 a.m.

At 4:45 a.m. someone stole a trailer from a parking lot at 4205 Poole Rd.

Between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. someone stole a television, a camcorder, a Playstation, an X-box and two laptop computers from a home on the 1000 block of Southgate Drive.

Someone stole a Buick LeSabre from the 600 block of Smedes Court at 9:34 a.m. The car was found damaged.

Around 10:40 a.m. someone assaulted a man, 27, at a day care at 2312 Milburnie Rd.

At 2:20 p.m. police arrested a 16-year-old male for attempting to steal socks from the Hudson Belk at 7500 Old Wake Forest Rd.

Someone assaulted a woman, 25, at a Hotel at 3215 Capital Blvd. at 4:00 p.m.

Between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. someone stole CDs, a vacuum, a “shirt with signature,” a brown hat and a remote controlled car from a house on the 100 block of Summit Drive.

Someone stole a purse containing $30 and an inhaler from a building at 513 Branch St. between 6:30 and 7:10 p.m.

At 9:29 p.m. someone shot a BB at the Happy Times Childcare Center at 301 N King Charles Rd, damaging a window.

Wednesday, August 19

Someone stole a power meter from a house on the 1100 block of Savannah Drive at 12:15 a.m.

At 2:04 a.m. someone broke into Zack’s Grocery Mart at 1617 New Bern Ave. and stole “an unknown number of miscellaneous potted meats.”
