Raleigh kicked off the third annual Winterfest in downtown Raleigh Saturday night at City Plaza. The two-month event features an outdoor skating rink with natural ice. Saturday night’s special festivities including a holiday tree lighting by Mayor Charles Meeker, dancing, music, storytelling, carousel rides, sledding and more.
