Some Raleigh residents joined in a peaceful protest Saturday against President Obama. The event was organized by the Impeach Obama and William Gheen of of ALIPAC (Americans for Legal Immigration PAC). The groups sent a Facebook invitation to people in all 50 capitols for the protest, which occurred between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The invitation asked citizens to “join us for a historic, healthy, peaceful and racially inclusive expressions of concern and grievances through national protests against Obama!”

The small group of folks braved the rain and snow as they paraded around the Capitol building in downtown Raleigh on Saturday.
